Week #38 - Venice

Today was my sister’s birthday, so she chose where to go for her party. I begged her to choose to go Disneyland because there would be cotton candy and face paint, but all she did was open her big mouth and list ALL the reasons why we SHOULDN’T go to Disneyland. Then she demanded Mum to go to the zoo. Yikes!
 When we got there, EVERYONE was commenting about my sister’s pretty pink princess dress. Bleh.

When we passed any animal at all, my sister would say, “Mummy look! A penguin!” Then the elephant delivered  his speech “GO TO DISNEYLAND!!!”

  As I walked through the forest, winter's day covered the mountains plain white. As it got darker it had gone colder. (CRACK!) I turned around but there was no one, thinking in my mind that it was just a rabbit. The trees wooshed through the air. I heard a rustle behind one mysterious tree. Then out of nowhere a man jumped out behind the tree covered in moss like he had been standing there for years. I ran as fast as I could back home. Week #29 - Gian

It was Christmas Eve and my Dad said he wanted to have a new car for Christmas. We said it was impossible for Santa to give us that. Well, he still wrote it down on his gift list! He said he wanted a grey car with five seats. Later that night we heard a loud BANG on our roof. We checked it out but there was nothing. The next morning it was Christmas. After receiving our gifts my brother and I went outside to play on our scooters, and that’s when we saw it - a grey car, IN OUR ROOF!!

Week #43 - Tineke

Then it began… The lights turned on and I heard the audience cheering and chanting my name. I was frightened but I did not show my fear. I walked onto the stage with confidence not letting anything stop me from being brave. That night I performed the best performance ever. It had clear and beautiful moves with a voice that echoed through the town like a soft and delicate flute. My life had changed from that day on,  I became a famous actor and performed in lots of famous shows. So my words  are be strong and brave be you.
